Hon. Benjamin Cousins & Edwin R. Wingate have purchased a bell which they will present to the town for the graded school building which is being built at this place.

The village schools opened last Monday in the new school building which is well equipped with all the modern improvements. Miss Annie Dolloff of Standish is the teacher of the grammar grade and Miss Mead of Bridgton of the primary school.
